Brief Description

This program is a combination of five streams. Each stream offers a specific set of skills to enable you to enter and/or enhance your IT career. These five areas include project management, system design and analysis, complex network design and deployment, system analysis and basic programming. The program integrates Microsoft Official Curriculum and University requirement standards.

The program allows the candidate exemption from units that are used in their 1st year of university study in courses such as Computer Science, Business Information System, Internet Computing, Information Systems Development, Games Technology, Internetworking and Security, and Multimedia Information Systems. On the other hand, it also equips the candidate with the skills & knowledge that come with an internationally recognised industry qualification and nationally recognised certification in the Diploma of Information Technology - Network Engineering.

Assessment Methods

The assessment is based on your practical work, project, work experience or internship reports, practical assessments and theory test(s). Practical and written assessments are carried out on a weekly basis. Your progress will be recorded in the student assessment portfolio. Ongoing assessment and attendance monitoring by the lecturer is conducted on a daily and weekly basis.

We encourage students to apply 1 month before the commencement date to avoid any delay caused by the immigration processing time. This is especially for student/s from countries in the categories of visa assessment level 3 and 4.
